“The Glass and Door Company did an amazing job on our frameless shower. From the measurement to the install, everything was on time and the crew was respectful of our home. The finished product looks incredible.”Sandra M.Georgetown, TX
“We had a foggy window that two other companies wanted to replace entirely. These guys replaced just the glass unit for a fraction of the price and it looks brand new.”
“Great local company. They fabricated custom mirrors for our bathroom remodel and the quality of the edge work is better than anything we found at the big box stores.”
Common questions
Most frameless shower enclosures we install in the Georgetown area fall between $1,800 and $4,500 depending on the size of the opening, the glass thickness (3/8" or 1/2"), the glass type, and the hardware finish. A simple door-and-panel is at the low end; a large corner enclosure with notched glass and premium hardware is at the high end. Every quote is given after a free in-home measurement, not over the phone from a guess.
Typically 10 to 14 business days from the day we field measure. Glass is cut and tempered to your exact opening after measurement, and tempering cannot be done on site. Standard clear glass moves fastest; specialty patterns like reeded, rain or low-iron can add a few days.
Almost always, yes. A foggy window means the seal on the insulated glass unit has failed. We replace just the glass unit inside your existing frame, which typically costs far less than a full window replacement and takes one visit.
Yes. We provide free measurements and written estimates throughout Georgetown, Sun City, Liberty Hill, Jarrell, Florence, Round Rock, Leander, Cedar Park, Pflugerville and North Austin.
We serve Williamson County and northern Travis County, including Georgetown, Sun City, Liberty Hill, Florence, Jarrell, Round Rock, Leander, Cedar Park, Pflugerville and North Austin.
Central Texas water is hard, so mineral spotting is the main enemy of clear glass. Squeegee the glass after each shower, and ask us about a factory-applied protective coating that makes the surface far easier to keep clear. Never use abrasive pads or ammonia-heavy cleaners on coated glass.
